SAFETY

Safety ALWAYS comes first!  We strive for accident-free jobsites and fabrication facilities. Every team member has a role to play in creating a safe place to work.   As a result, our Experience Modification Rate (EMR), a rating system used by insurers to gauge risk of on-site injury, is .75, significantly below industry averages.  We continually improve our processes through an organized safety and risk management approach that employs the following:

• Commitment and belief that “Safety is EVERYONE’S business”

• Creation of site specific safety plans to address the risks of each project

• Specific safety orientation required for everyone working on the jobsite

• Daily pre-task safety planning process for all crews

• Weekly, documented, jobsite safety inspections conducted by dedicated Safety Coordinator

• Safety education and training goals for all Grizzly Glass employees
